Britney Spears has purchased an $8.5million Los Angeles home, according to reports.
The new X Factor judge is moving further from Hollywood with the purchase of a five bedroom, seven bathroom home in suburban Thousand Oaks, E! News reports.
The 8,456-square-foot home, built in 2010, also features an infinity pool, wine cellar, home theatre and fireplace.
In the lap of luxury: Britney Spears has splashed out on this Thousand Oaks, California home, according to reports
The property is located about 15 miles from Britney's Calabasas home, which cost her a reported $19,000 a month.
The star's alleged purchase follows news of her lucrative contract with Simon Cowell's TV talent show.
Financial documents show the star has plenty of expendable income as well, with an estimated worth of $32.4million.
Britney, 30, has a blend of assets,
including property and cash, that brings the superstar up to the
enviable figure, according to documents filed by her conservatorship, E! News reported last week.
Looking good: Britney looked polished and put together at a Los Angeles event on October 10
Sprawling: The home is quintessentially California, with indoor-outdoor living spaces
Grand hallways: An open floor plan opens the space while light pours in from large windows throughout
Making an entrance: Stone walls and matching tile pull together a statement-making foyer
Sweeping vistas: An infinity pool looks out onto The Valley
The network showed a snapshot of the star's balance sheet at the end of December 2010.
Perhaps most notably, it showed Britney had a huge amount of cash on hand at just shy of $15million.
The figures do not take account of
her reported $15million contract to star on The X Factor, nor the cash
windfall she is due to receive after taking part in a money-spinning
tour that earned $68million.
The paperwork also revealed, however, that it is not cheap being a world famous music star.
The In The Zone favourite ended up spending quite the pretty penny in 2010 on a catalogue of personal costs.
Fine dining: A table for eight sits between the kitchen and the backyard
Fit for a chef: The home provides ample space for entertaining
Lounger: Two oversized sofas corner the living room, which also features a fireplace and beamed ceilings
The way in: The home features lush landscaping
Britney's single biggest expense was childcare for her two young sons, which cost her an eye-watering $304,000.
Her personal grooming and wardrobe costs alone added up to an eye watering $61,000.
The rest of her personal outgoings included rent, cleaning, car, electricity, gas and water, and added up to more than $115,000.
Under the conservatorship managed by
her father Jamie Spears and lawyer Andrew Wallet, her fiduciary and
attorney fees came to $973,547.79 in 2010.
The accounts were from well before Britney's fianc and manager, Jason Trawick, became a co-conservator in April.
