They rose to fame together as part of pop-tastic boyband Blue.
But it would seem Simon Webbe and Duncan James still enjoy their fair share of friendly competition – particularly when it comes to the battle of the six-pack.
Showcasing bulging biceps and ripped abs, the duo seemed particularly proud to be flaunting their buff bodies on a recent holiday to Dubai.

My pecs are bigger than yours: Simon didn't look too shabby either
And although they were supposed to be enjoying a day of fun in the sun at the Wild Wadi water park, the pair appeared to be much more concerned with posing and preening.
Duncan, 34, showed off his perfect six-pack in a pair of cobalt blue swimming shorts, while a string of black beads around his neck highlighted the impressive collection of body art adorning his chest and arms.
Meanwhile, Simon, also 34, opted for grey low-slung shorts with his Calvin Klein boxer shorts cheekily poking out of the top.

Fun in the sun: The boys seemed to be having a whale of a time as they sampled the delights of a number of water rides
When the bandmates weren't showing off their impressive abs in the pool, they found plenty of time to lark around as they enjoyed the array of rides at the water park.
Blue reunited last year to represent the UK in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, and are planning on releasing their fourth studio album next year.
And Simon could have more to risk than any of the other members of the band – also including Antony Costa and Lee Ryan – after admitting he turned his back on a record deal in the US to reform the group.
Smouldering: Simon and Duncan had obviously been working hard on their ripped abs before hitting the Middle East
He told Middle East magazine Ahlan!: 'It was Duncan who orchestrated it. I was in America at the time and I got offered a record deal, and he calls me up and goes “Do you think we should get back together for a ten-year anniversary”
'I thought about it and I’m better as a team player so I walked away from the US deal.
'Take That opened the doors for boy bands again. One Direction and The Wanted make boy bands cool as well!'
