It's their big moment to shine and make a good first impression so who can blame the fame-hungry housemates for stepping things up in the style stakes.
And it appears that most of the girls had embraced the less is more mantra with tight bandage dresses and glittering super short frocks on parade at the Big Brother launch tonight.
Scottish model Sara McLean, 22, led the ladies with the least clothing and she was greeted with whoops and cheers as she shimmered across the stage in her strapless dress which boasted a tulip style skirt.

As she entered the house she shouted out: 'I am so f***ing nervous.'
The former Miss Edinburgh pageant queen certainly seemed to make a impact with the men in the house who rushed to make her acquaintance.
She certainly wasn't the only female who thought that flashing some flesh would get her more air time and with fifteen other housemates to compete with it's no surprise each girl pulled out all the stops to get noticed.
Victoria Eisermann, 41, and 25-year-old Lydia Louisa had both squeezed their curves into tight bandage dresses for the evening.

Her appearance means a lot to her and she explained: ‘I can’t go out without looking reem.’
Ashleigh also divulged ‘I haven't had sex is ages,’ before adding’ I haven’t had it in about three weeks.’

The show had only been on for five minutes when Big Brother set the first challenge.

ARRON LOWE, 23 This Mixed Martial Arts fighter
is also a model who is currently taking time off from competing to
concentrate on working for the likes of Abercrombie & Fitch and
Hollister. He confesses that once he’s had a couple of drinks he always
takes his top off in clubs to show off his abs. He's Currently single
but not looking for anything new.
SARA McLEAN, 22 This Scottish student is also
a model who won Miss Edinburgh in 2010 and finished second in Miss
Scotland 2011. A wild, fun outrageous flirt Sara freely admits that she
is very argumentative with a short temper. She is also a supporter of
the Conservative party and a staunch Margaret Thatcher fan, and has been
single for a year.
DEANA UPPAL, 23 This ambitious brunette is
currently Miss India UK and says that the greatest love of her life is

David Beckham Football Academy in London where he spent four days
playing football with Beckham,. Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard.
SCOTT MASON, 20
blonde history student is hoping to launch a career as a ‘celebrity
historian’ after Big Brother.He has an obsession with the British upper
classes and is a member of shooting and countryside societies at
university. His most recent job was as an Avon Cosmetics Representative,
and he has never been in a long-term relationship.
LYDIA LOUISA, 25 This professional dancer is
engaged to reality star Andy Scott-Lee. As a child she attended
three-hour dance classes, six days a week and professionally she has
danced with Kylie Minogue and Kanye West, amongst others. Lydia is
allergic to alcohol and says she find it hard to walk away from
VICTORIA EISERMANN, 41 This plus size model and animal
rights campaigner is a former glamour model, who has appeared in
countless publications. Her biggest challenge in the house will be
cleanliness, as she says she's 'very very tidy, so can’t stand it when
people are not,' and she wants to win the show simply for the money.
CHRIS JAMES, 21
flirty, silver-tongued doorman from Luton also works as a bailiff. He
will do whatever is necessary to win, saying: 'I’ll be the biggest two
faced person in there.'He’s only recently moved out of home, renting
what he calls his ‘shag pad.' Chris loves his work and describes himself
as 'a wind up merchant' and goes to the gym religiously.
CAROLINE WHARRAM. 20 This young blonde is a former boarding
school girl from Surrey who describes herself as 'weird, embarrassing
and a bit of a loser. She says she is terrible with boys and has never
maintained a relationship for longer than a week. Caroline doesn’t think
she’ll win Big Brother, saying: 'I always think aloud, I’m very
irritable and really blunt.'
ASHLEIGH HUGHES, 20 This bubbly, energetic, potty-mouthed
Essex girl says she wants to win Big Brother for the fame even if she is
loved or hated, she doesn’t care which.
The retail sales
supervisor/part time barmaid believes that, 'money does make you happy'
but says that she is not a stereotypical Essex girl. She's happily
single but loves flirting.
ANDERSON, 31 This development Chef was born
in South Africa but raised in Wales. From a young age he felt like 'a
boy in a girl’s body,' and began gender transition four years ago,
having surgery and regular testosterone injections. He hopes that being
on the show will help to show ‘trans guys' that you can lead a normal
life, and says he is confident he can win.
SCRASE, 24 This nightclub promoter from
Stoke On Trent says he's a charmer who wins people over whether they
like it or not 'including your girlfriend!' He is a compulsive flirt as
he likes the attention and having a hold over people. He dropped out of
university to work in bars, and got well-known in the club scene. He
said he's a bad loser.
33 This writer, model and actor from
Cardiff also plays flute 'in a kind of jazz style in an electro band.'
He’s worked as a gothic/alternative Model since 2008 but says his dream
would be to be an actor or published novelist. He anticipates that he
will be 'sleeping in, staying up late and occasionally talking to
himself' in the house.

civil partnership and would like to use his time in Big Brother to

REBECCA, 19 This bubbly larger than life drama student college has previously been
an extra on Shameless. She has only had one major relationship and she
is still with him, saying she’s only fancied one boy, and that’s her

Once she was joined by the rest of the contestants, Deana was faced with the reality of her secret task which saw her nominate three of her fellow housemates face-to-face.
The brunette certainly struggled to find reasons for her nominations which ended up seeing personal trainer Conor, 41-year-old Victoria and dancer Lydia face the public vote this week.
The group of 16 will also be joined
by a final housemate later on this week who will be voted in by the
public following an audition show that was aired before tonight's
Jamie East was seen
going on a quest to find this year's winner which saw him end up with
three wildcard contestants: Rebecca, Anthony and Bhavesh.
student Rebecca has said if she is voted into the house then she will
eat loads of food, but is in a relationship so will not be looking for
Bhavesh said he wants to go into the house to show that it's okay to be
Indian and gay, while Anthony said he will 'sleep in, stay up late and
talk to himself' if he goes through the doors.
