For the third live eviction Benedict was up against Lauren, and it was the porn star who was sent packing from the Big Brother House.

As all the housemates hugged the evictee following Brian Dowling's announcement, Benedict bizarrely picked up a chair and left the house in some style.

A security guard met him at the bottom of the stairs and confiscated the chair from him as a series of boos rang out from the crowd.

Once sat down with Brian he explained that the housemates were told to steal something from the house by Emma Willis, the host of Big Brother's Bit On The Side.

He said: 'Your colleagues asked us to steal something from the house, I was gonna give it back to you.'

When questioned about facing an angry crowd he said: 'I think it is to be expected, I have very strong opinions so I knew everyone wouldn't agree with me.'

Benedict, who caused controversy when he admitted to pleasuring himself during his time inside the house, also believed that his actions were part of the reason he was nominated.

He said: 'I think its one of the big reasons im out here. I'm living in a house, I'm coming to a house to be me.

'I'm not ashamed of masturbating. I would pleasure myself at home and we should be proud to do it.'

He added: 'I think partially I'm out because of my opinions and I have had some similar experiences already but Lauren would have grown more from this than me.'

Last night Big Brother told housemates they were no longer allowed to discuss nominations, however they quickly broke the rules.

Connor and Caroline breached the rule when they spoke about nominating Becky and the whole house were punished with no hot water.

The target: Becky was left upset after she found out Caroline called her annoying, and Benedict told Caroline she was not sorry for what she had said

Caroline and Conor apologised to the housemates, but Benedict wasn’t happy and firmly told Caroline: 'No you’re not (sorry) because you bitch about people all the time, you’ve been incredibly nasty.'

A hurt Becky said: 'Maybe you should have said to me that 'I’m irritated by you', it’s two-faced and I just don’t find it very nice.'

Later in the day Caroline attempted to make peace with Benedict and said to him: 'I’ve taken it into consideration and think you’re completely right.
