Time was up for Lydia on Big Brother tonight as she was evicted from the Big Brother house amidst a chorus of boos, while nominee Deena was saved by viewers at home.
As she rushed to leave, Lydia assured her housemates: 'No honestly I'm so happy to see him [her fianc, Andy Scott Lee]'.
Speaking to Brain Dowling afterwards, Lydia admitted: 'I think I always expected it.'
Evicted: Lydia's time on Big Brother came to an end tonight- but she seemed to cheer up when she was reunited with her fianc Andy Scott Lee
Tender embrace: Lydia told her housemates that she couldn't wait to see Andy
'Coming on here was a massive risk for me. I knew having someone who's in the public eye as a partner, some people don't like it.'
Asked why she thought people saved Deena, she said: 'I haven't seen it, I can't second guess it.'
Optimistically, she added: 'I could have been gone in the second week, so for me it's been like a month in there.'
Brushed off questions: Asked why she thought people saved Deena, she said 'I haven't seen it, I can't second guess it.'
Little uncomfortable Lydia squirmed a bit while she answered Brian's questions
Glamorous look: Lydia certainly smartened up for the eviction night
Speaking about the eating challenge which saw her lose popularity with her housemates, she said: 'I'd just like to say about the custard, it didn't taste like normal custard that you have at home.'
'And at the end of the day, I finished it!'
On the subject of playing up to the cameras, she mused: 'I don't think you can be the real person in there, it's so intense, it's so petty, you can't be like you are in the outside world.'
Cold reception: The crowd booed Lydia as she walked outside to meet Brian
Not what she wanted to hear: Connor was shown saying 'She's trying to be everyone's best friend on Sunday and Monday'
'I will always be perfectly honest. I was always an easy target, I didn't feel like I could relax I was obviously a vulnerable target.'
'That's why the reason was so stupid, the custard, it was just an excuse.'
'When I was in there I felt like the others were plotting and I felt like I had to do the same.'
In a rush to leave Despite doing all she could to stay in, Lydia seemed happy to escape the house
Fond goodbye: Though there had been some tensions in the house, many seemed sad to see Lydia go
Asked who she'd like to see booted out next she replied immediately: 'Connor'. She added that she would like to see Luke A win.
Deana chatted to Big Brother the day before, admitting that she was excited to see what happens on eviction night.
Relief: Deena was understandably delighted to have been saved by the public
She said: '‘What will be, will be. It will be a nice confidence boost to see if people have picked up the phone for me to save me.’
As time goes on I’ll get stronger and be more comfortable here.’
Meanwhile Lydia chatted to Luke A are in the smoking area, saying how much she wants to be saved.
Had wanted to stay: Lydia confessed the day before evictions that she really didn't want to leave
