Bethenny Frankel cannot escape the curse of cellulite

She may be a Skinnygirl… but even Bethenny Frankel suffers the curse of dreaded orange peel

She may have a best selling drinks range called Skinnygirl, but it seems even Bethenny Frankel doesn't have a perfect figure.

As she hit the Miami beach in a bikini today and yesterday, the former Real Housewives star showed off a pair of dimpled thighs.

The unsightly dimples were most visible when Bethenny hit the pool yesterday sporting a plain black bikini.

Today, she swapped bikinis, stepping out in a white swimsuit with beaded detail on the sandy beach.

Sunglasses and an oversize floppy hat shaded her from the Florida sunshine as she strolled through the waves.

At one point, she jumped over the waves and had a short swim in the warm ocean.

Cellulite affects approximately 90 per cent of all women of all shapes and sizes.

So even Bethenny, who has released a workout video and several healthy recipe books, can be affected.

Following
her stroll down the beach, Bethenny again hit the pool, taking a
refreshing dip with cute little Bryn, who turns two-years-old in May.

The 41-year-old couldn't help beaming as she sat poolside with her little girl.

Wearing a pretty pink and green bathing suit, the little girl donned some armbands for a swimming lesson with her famous mother.

Bethenny held her tenderly in the pool before picking her up and giving her a cuddle.

The
youngster is already a TV star – she is appearing alongside Bethenny on
the new series of her reality show Bethenny Ever After.

The star has made no secret of her healthy lifestyle, having released several recipe books with titles including: The Skinnygirl Dish: Easy Recipes for Your Naturally Thin Life.

She also recently shared diet tips with magazine Shape, telling readers to never eat the same thing in a row to stay healthy.

'It’s different
every single day. That’s the key to being naturally thin — not being so
regimented,' she told the magazine.

According
to the star, one of her favourite philosophies is: 'Your diet is your
bank account,' meaning you can indulge but don't go overboard.

'So if you are in the mood for chocolate cake one day, if you
really, really want it, you should have it,' she said. 'If you have
something in the morning that is not ideal then have something at lunch
that is more ideal.

'It’s a better investment, and you balance it
throughout the day so you end up having everything you want – just not
all at once.'

And when she isn't indulging in a Skinnygirl margaritas, she says a vodka soda drink as a low calorie tipple.

'You can take a flavour vodka, like a fruity flavour vodka, with
club soda and then a little splash of your favourite juice and then pick
either a lemon, a lime, or an orange to make it a whole fun thing,' said the star.

Bethenny was accompanied to Miami by her husband, Jason Hoppy, although he wasn't present poolside yesterday afternoon.

Along with hitting the beach and pool, Bethenny and Bryn have been on a few outings, heading to Miami's Jungle Island, where they checked out wild animals and even got to pet a monkey.

The star is in the sultry beach city to attend its Food & Wine festival and also gave a presentation there on Saturday.

Despite the reality star's high profile
sale of her Skinnygirl drinks range, she had to face some controversy
last year when grocery chain Whole Foods removed the range from its
shelves.

Wholefoods found it contained the preservative sodium benzoate, which can become carcinogenic when mixed with vitamin C.

But that is far from the only blow that has been dealt to the drink brand.

Earlier
this week it was been accused of using poor quality, non-pure tequila,
rather than the ‘100 per cent blue agave tequila’ advertised on the
bottle.

The company
founder has repeatedly claimed that her ‘margarita you can trust’ had
just two ingredients: agave nectar and 100 per cent blue agave tequila.

Skinnygirl
drinkers Christopher Rapcinsky and Erin Baker brought a $10 million
class action lawsuit against its makers for falsely claiming the drink
was ‘all natural’ with ‘no preservatives’.

Rapcinsky and Baker have now amended their suit after discovering the tequila in the drink is ‘a lower quality and purity tequila by-product called mixto – essentially a mash of tequila and some unknown additives’.

Comparing pure tequila to mixto ‘is like comparing Thunderbird wine to a fine Chianti. They're both wine, but very different,’ said their lawyer, Tom Mullaney.

Bethenny sold the two-year-old drink line earlier this year for a reported $120million, according to the New York Post, although the actual figure has been reported to be much lower

The
lawsuit claims that after liquor giant Beam Global bought the
Skinnygirl brand from Frankel, the labels changed to say the drink was
made ‘with premium Blue Agave tequila’ – taking out the ‘100 per cent’
reference.

The statement that it includes the premium tequila could therefore be true, the suit said, but is still misleading.

It adds that Skinnygirl's ‘entire marketing campaign, both its advertising and labelling, is based on falsehoods’.

‘Consumers would not have purchased
Skinnygirl Margarita had they known it was manufactured with inferior
mixto tequila,’ it said.

In a
statement, Beam Global argued: ‘Skinnygirl Margarita is made with
premium blue agave tequila and meets the highest quality standards. We
will defend our case vigorously,
and we are fully confident we will prevail.’

Frankel fiercely defended
the drink earlier this year when it was revealed it was not as natural
as she'd claimed.

'I'm not making wheatgrass here. If I
could put an agave plant and some limes on a shelf I would. The
Skinnygirl Margarita is as close to nature as possible, while still
being a shelf-stable product,' she told Access Hollywood.

'We
are, in fact, the fastest growing spirits brand in the US… We were
bound to p*** someone off, and everyone loves to try to tear down a
success. This is a non-event.'
