Glee star Lea Michele has landed a $1 million contract as the face of L’Oral, following in the footsteps of actresses including Eva Longoria, Rachel Weisz and Andie MacDowell.
Since hitting the small screen three years ago the 26-year-old New Yorker has regularly topped most beautiful lists and Time magazine previously pegged her as one of the world's most influential people.
According to the New York Post the French cosmetics giant, known for its advertising slogan 'Because we're worth it', will unveil its new campaign starring Ms Michele later this month.

Also this year Ms Michele secured a deal as the spokesperson for clothing and accessories brand Candie's.
She helped promote it's spring/summer range posing in a number of bold ensembles for print and TV ads.
Since her Glee character Rachel Berry graduated, Lea has been carving a fashionable new image for herself.
On the red carpet she is regularly
snapped in labels such as Armani, Victoria Beckham and Carolina Herrera,
and this season she attended a number of shows at New York Fashion

This weekend she was guest of honour at a party thrown by Nylon at Mr C's hotel in Beverley Hills, to celebrate her first cover shoot for the magazine.
For the event she donned a striking floor-length, green, Naeem Khan gown paired with dusty pink platforms.
She recently confirmed that she is dating Glee co-star Cory Monteith, who plays her on-screen boyfriend, after the pair were snapped holding hands.
The new season of Glee premiered in the U.S. last week. It is reported that Ms Michele receives $45,000 per episode.
