Face of an Angel: Gisele is reported to use beauty sweets to maintain her glow
The day that so many of us have dreamed of could finally be here as a range of confectionery that claims to actually boost health and looks goes on sale in the UK.
Beauty Candy, created by Brazilian firm BeautyIn Cosmetics, claims to be able to boost health, improve the complexion and even slow down the ageing process.
Supermodel Gisele is reported to be a fan of the sweets, the brainchild of former dentist Cristiana Arcangeli, who tells us the sweets will 'bring beauty to a new dimension'.
BeautyIn Cosmetics, whose mantra is 'beauty from inside to outside' claims its new sweets – which are entirely sugar and fat free – are intended to provide a quick 'sweet fix' without the harmful effects of sugar ,and can also increase energy levels.
The Beauty Candy has already attracted a host of A-list fans.
Brazilian Victoria's Secret model Gisele was said in the Telegraph to be a big fan of the sweets, always keeping a pack in her handbag.
Fellow supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio and Isabella Fontana are also said to be fans.
So what is in the sweets Every 12 capsules or 'sweets'
contain 2g of 'hydrolysed' collagen, which BeautyIn says has been scientifically
proven to help firm and plump the skin.
They are filled
with important proteins and vitamins, reported to be capable of improving
mood, complexion and general well-being.
The sweets will be available to buy raspberry, lemon, orange and strawberry flavours for 2.50 a pack at Selfridges and online from BeautyIn's website.
