She says she plans to commute daily from her London home to Manchester when BBC Breakfast moves North.

And it seems Susanna Reid is keen to make sure she is in good shape to cope with the gruelling routine.

The TV presenter was spotted this weekend, sporting a red running vest and shorts, trainers and a baseball cap, going for a lengthy run in the capital’s Richmond Park.

But it is more than just the move that she is in training for – the 41-year-old is running the London Marathon this month, in aid of Sport Relief.

Miss Reid, who lives in London with partner Dominic Cotton and their three sons aged nine, eight and six, is running the
race for the first time, it is understood.
