Launching her new boutique to the world, it's understandable Amy Childs wanted to make her mark with a dramatic look.
But the 22-year-old reality star opted for a positively hair-raising style as she embarked upon her latest business venture in Brentwood, Essex, earlier today (Wednesday).
The former The Only Way Is Essex star's overly-backcombed barnet gave her the unfortunate appearance of having been stuck in a wind tunnel for some time.

And Amy's windswept look was made even more apparent by her scraping her locks back with a super-tight headband.
Aside from her unusual choise of hairstyle, the redhead beauty looked sophisticated in a black form-fitting pencil dress.
Accessorising with a chunky gold watch and drop earrings, Amy proved that she means business by completing her look with a pair of fierce spiked peep-toe shoes by Christian Louboutin.

The star was joined at her launch by a number of her celebrity pals, including her cousin and ex-TOWIE co-star Harry Derbidge, Geordie Shore's Holly Hagan and former WAG Lizzie Cundy.
The quartet posed up a storm outside the store, with Lizzie and Harry adhering to Amy's apparent purple them in a lace overlay dress and plum-coloured blazer respectively.
Meanwhile, Holly showed off her pillarbox red locks in a flirty cream minidress.
The star was later joined by close pal Peter Andre, who looked dapper in a black jacket, white T-shirt and denim jeans as he stopped by to check out the new boutique.

And Amy saw the arrival of her showbiz chum as the perfect opportunity to showcase another dress from her collection, with the beautician showcasing her famous curves in a midnight blue crystal-embellished strapless number.
The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant certainly seemed to be excited about launching her latest business venture, and thanked her mum Julie and boyfriend, Take Me Out star David Peters, for their support.
Posting on her Twitter page yesterday, she said: 'Sorry haven't tweeted much today , been so busy sorting out last minute preparations , boutique opening Tomorow, so so excited xxx
