Her angelic looks and squeaky clean track record have made Amanda Seyfried one of Hollywood's best-loved starlets.

But as well as her secret dirty sense of humour, exemplified by the word 'm**ge' tattooed on her foot, the actress has now revealed a rather surprising hobby.

Speaking tonight on the Jonathan Ross Show, the 26-year-old told the chat show host that she collects taxidermy.

'When taxidermy is done well it’s an
amazing piece of art,' she said. 'I love animals and they’re very easy to look
after when they’re dead.'

The Mamma Mia star added: 'I recently decided I was going to start building a parliament of owls because I only have one.

'But I have a horse, a miniature horse, it’s a baby. It’s quite small, it’s much bigger than my dog. His name is Antoine.

'I bought him in Paris. He was sitting
with every kind of animal you can possibly imagine, giraffes, zebras,
scorpions, and they were all sitting in this incredible installation and
that’s when I decided that this was going to be a life long hobby.'

It is unknown how Amanda's beloved pet pooch Finn feels about the stuffed animals dotted around the actress' LA home. But he can rest assured that he will always be number one in her life.

Miss Seyfried has always been vocal about her love of the dog, and told Metro in a recent interview: 'I can’t live without him. He goes everywhere with me. He’s better than a husband could ever be.'

Amanda wore a prim pink silk dress for
her interview on the chat show, on which she appeared alongside Kiefer
Sutherland, Freddie Flintoff and Paul Weller.

Kiefer attracted laughs when he recalled a recent embarrassing experience when he ripped his jeans riding a mechanical bull, and happened to be not wearing any underwear.

The 24 star told how the bull operator was a little overzealous with the controls, causing Kiefer some serious injury. 'I broke two fingers and I split my pants
from the crotch all the way up to the back of my belt,' he said.

'And it was one
of the nights I wasn’t wearing underwear, so it was the longest exit out
of a bar I’ve ever had because I had to get the two pieces of jean
clenched in my bottom and literally had to walk out and then get my
fingers fixed.'
