She has so far been charged with a DUI and has been involved in two hit-and-runs in a matter of months.

And despite her recent erratic behaviour and friends and families voicing their serious concern, the actress insists that she is just fine.

In fact the 26-year-old former Nickelodeon star has told People magazine in a bizarre new interview that she is 'amazing', and claims that her charges related to her DUI are 'false'.

Erratic: In the past few weeks the actress has displayed erratic behaviour

On Tuesday night the actress reportedly displayed even more erratic behaviour during a spin class at Equinox gym in West Hollywood.

'Amanda stopped to take her T-shirt off, revealing only a tiny, black, strapless push-up bra – not a sports bra,' an onlooker told People.

'(She then) pulled out her makeup kit and started reapplying her lipstick and eyeliner while looking at herself in the large mirror in front of her.'

According to the source, the actress proceeded to adjust her make-up for a reported 10 minutes before putting her T-shirt on and leaving right in the middle of the class.

This followed on from her April arrest for drink driving, though the hit and run charges occurred before her license was suspended.

According to TMZ, prosecutors argued at a Beverly Hills courthouse the Hairspray star had proven to be a danger on the road time and again, and that setting such a high bail would deter her from offending again.

Judge Fox said it was unnecessary at this point, though he will not fail to act strictly if she steps out of line again.

The bail hearing had been scheduled to be heard on Friday, but her lawyer Richard Hutton had it advanced to Wednesday to avoid a 'media circus.'

She had also initially been ordered to appear in court, but Mr Hutton persuaded the prosecution her presence was not necessary due to the significant bail amount being posted for a misdemeanour DUI case.

It has also emerged her parents have moved to Hollywood in an attempt to reel in her wild ways.

According to TMZ they have leased their property in Austin so they can be close to their wayward daughter.

However, it appears they will have an uphill struggle, as she has no plans to go to rehab.

An insider said: 'Amanda has no plans to go to rehab and reports that stated she was checking in Tuesday or Wednesday are false.

'Amanda has absolutely no plans to check into rehab.

'She
doesn't need rehab either, what she truly needs is a mental health
evaluation, her parents and friends are extremely concerned about her
well-being.

'Amanda has no grasp about the seriousness of the criminal charges she is facing, from her DUI and hit and run charges.

'Amanda has been told multiple times that she can't drive but she has continued to do so anyway.

'The Burbank Police Department should be commended for impounding the vehicle she was driving because she truly is a danger to herself and others.'
