Alice Temperley, whose fans include Kate and Pippa Middleton, offered an abundance of grace and elegance in her spring collection as a loyal tribe of A-listers lined her front row.
Using her tried-and-tested formula of elegance, full skirts, dresses with nipped waists and wide-brimmed hats were the catwalk staples.
The show was titled 'Return to Elegance' and taking place in the Grand Connaught ballroom, it combined charm and delicacy and truly lived up to its name.

Fittingly for the chandelier-lit ambiance, the textures were luxurious and full of lace and silk.
The front row was filled by actress Anna Friel, a Temperley regular who these days is based in Los Angeles, supermodel Jacquetta Wheeler and pop star Pixie Lott.

launching her triumphant diffusion line at John Lewis, Alice Temperley
showed a collection that wasn’t suitable for work, or sexy enough for a
date, but did feature some very Fifties, Hepburn-style dresses, with
panels of sheer organza, that only need the wearer to add a yacht.
The message is clear: girls, we all need to rediscover our waists.
