If the neighbour has his way it could mean Adele's dream home could be turned into a nightmare as she will have less privacy than she had intended when she purchased it.

A source told The Sun: 'This would be a nightmare for Adele.

'It may be she didn’t even know about it but I wouldn’t want to pay 2million then see a neighbour’s pool built outside my window.'

Adele bought the property when she started dating Simon Konecki, who also lives in Brighton.

The 23-year-old star had been
searching the popular seaside area and its neighboring Hove for months
but was unable to find anywhere.

Finally,
with the help of Simon, she found a trendy pad right
by the beach and the couple are reportedly moving in to it together.

But if permission is granted, the decking could ruin the view from her house.

The source added: 'The big factor in these properties is the uninterrupted 180-degree view owners have from the rear. I’d imagine she’s pretty annoyed.'
