Simply stunning: Abbie Cornish wore a white Roland Mouret bustier dress with a washed-out floral print at the New York City premiere of her new film, Seven Psychopaths
The Australian star wore the white
figure-hugging frock to the event at Clearview Chelsea Cinemas in the
downtown Manhattan district.
The Sucker Punch star paired the dress with a silver clutch and matching manicure as she smiled down the red carpet.
Head-turner: Abbie was poised and polished on the red carpet
All aglow: The 30-year-old hazel-eyed beauty wore her blonde locks in soft curls around her shoulders
Co-stars: The actress posed with Sam Rockwell, who wore a dark suit paired with a patterned tie
Abbie's make-up was minimal – a lash of pink lipstick complimenting soft curls that tumbled around her shoulders.
She joined co-stars Sam Rockwell,
Gabourey Sidibe, Christopher Walken and Michael Pitt on the red carpet,
the actors also posing with the film's director, Martin McDonagh, and
co-producer, Graham Broadbent.
Singer Jewel and models Kelly Bensimon and Helena Christensen were also in attendance, both in muted browns and blacks.
Dark and stormy: Vanessa Hudgens went for head-to-toe black to support her Sucker Punch co-star Abbie at the event
Close pals: Abbie and Vanessa cuddled up for a happy snap during the evening
But the real star of the film – a two-year-old Shih Tzu named Bonny – was sadly a no-show.
The crime drama follows a struggling
screenwriter (Colin Farrell) who inadvertently becomes entangled in the
Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends kidnap a
gangster's (Woody Harrelson) beloved pooch.
Walken recently spoke about his love for his four-legged co-star, and admitted how impressed he was with her acting skills.
Star power: Jewel, left, and Seven Psychopaths actress Gabourey Sidibe, right, both went for classic black
Understated: Models Kelly Bensimon, left, and Helena Christensen, right, also attended the event in muted browns and blacks
The 69-year-old star told USA Today: 'The dog is like an angel… They would say “action”, and she just stayed.'
And it seems he's not Bonny's only
recent appearance at the Toronto Film Festival, Walken noted how
photographers were lapping up his furry friend on the red carpet.
The actor says he's become quite protective of her since.
Dapper: Co-stars Christopher Walken, left, and Michael Pitt, right, posed for cameras on the red carpet
Cast and crew: (L-R) Director Martin McDonagh, Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell and producer Graham Broadbent
Having a laugh: Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken crack a smile
'It was hot with these flashbulbs going off,' Walken said.
'There was this huge guy standing next
to me yelling, “Let me pick her up.”
'And I'm protecting the dog,
thinking, “If you touch that dog, I will crack you right in the face.”'
