A kiss from Cheryl Cole – and all for a good cause: Singer launches her first ever lipstick to raise money for her charity
As they admire their feet in the shoes from her glamorous new online collection, Cheryl Cole fans will also be pleased to hear that they can also pout like the star too.
Because the pop star is set to launch her very first lipstick in this season”s must-have colour – and it”s all in the name of a good cause.
Miss Cole has teamed up with cosmetics giant L”Oreal to create her first ever lipstick, and a limited edition one at that, from the Color Riche range called “Red Passion”.
A charitable pout: Cheryl Cole poses for the camera in her new lipstick which will help raise money for The Prince”s Trust
The lipstick goes on sale tomorrow and a pound from every sale will go to the The Cheryl Cole Foundation in aid of The Prince’s Trust.
And Cheryl said she was “thrilled” to be able to not only create her own lipstick but to help charity at the same time.
She said: “I love wearing lipstick as it is makes me feel glamorous whatever the occasion. I chose this iconic luxurious, red shade as it is the perfect dramatic accessory.
“I am so thrilled the funds raised from my L’Oral Paris lipstick can make a difference to people’s lives through my foundation with The Prince”s Trust.”
Cheryl said she thought carefully about the shade of the lipstick and wanted to pick one that would suit everyone.
She said: “Whenselecting the shade I chose one I felt would flatter most hair and skintypes, and is the red that everyone wants in their make-up bag.”
Extra hold: Cheryl – who was voted British hair icon of 2011 – shows off a perfectly coiffed do for her L”Oreal Elnett adverts this year
Cheryl launched her foundation in April this year in association with the Prince”s Trust to support its work with young people in the north east of England who have been in trouble with the law, have had difficulties at school or who are in or who are about to leave care.
Cherylhas worked with L”Oreal since 2009 when she became the face – and hair -of their Elvive shampoo and this May was used to promote their Elnett hairspray.
Aside from her lipstick, Cheryl also launched her own shoe range earlier this month for fashion website stylistpick.com.
But unfortunately for the pop star, several shoppers who bought the singer”s”signature” pair of black studded high heels have had to return them after discovering a fault.
One described the 79.90 Your Royal Hotness in Midnight Noir style as “awful” after the fabric on the heel peeled away.
