Ten reasons why….men cheat: Hilarious new video from cult YouTube blogger Emily Hartridge (and her swipe at a sexist troll)
17:51 GMT, 19 September 2012
She's given us her wickedly funny '10 Reasons Why' dating sucks, why you should never get drunk, and why she wishes she was a lesbian.
And now blogging sensation Emily Hartridge is back with the next installment to her popular video series – a hilarious YouTube lesson detailing the ten reasons why….men cheat.
The Londoner's short film takes in such age-old reasons for men straying as them not finding sex with their partner interesting enough, the thrill of the chase, and other girls offering themselves on the proverbial plate.

Emily Hartridge explains the ten reasons why men cheat on their partners in her hilarious new YouTube video
With her trademark candour and dramatic interludes, Hartridge explains that men cheat because their penises tell them to (even though we can't actually hear them), because they think they can get away with it, because – if they are lucky enough look like Brad Pitt – they have too many offers, and sometimes simply because they fall out of love with their partner.
Acquiescing that women can themselves be the cause of a relationship's undoing, Hartridge adds that if their parnters are too nagging or critical, men may seek compliments elsewhere.
At the end of the video (after a
silly and irreverent pyjama dance with her sister Alice) Hartridge also
bites back at an online comment from a YouTube troll who criticised her
'10 Reasons Why' series.
Emily Hartridge and friend explain (through the medium of drama) why men cheat if they are offered sex on a plate by another girl
She says: 'Now I don't normally do this, and I
actually take everyone's opinions on board, and I don't mind what you
guys comment on my videos as you'll notice because I don't disable them,
I let you write whatever you want, I don't block users….
'But you know what Someone's comment this week has really f****d me off – so I'm going to name and shame!'
the comment from YouTube user GPISGAY ('Typical woman w****e, not as
hot as she thinks, thinks she's funny but is incapable of making anyone
laugh'), Hartlidge slams the writer's sexism and ignorance in her
typically outspoken, matter-of-fact and comic way.
